Jack A. Deloplaine was an American football running back who played four seasons in the National Football League.
He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, and Chicago Bears from 1976 to 1979, having earlier played college football for the Salem Tigers.
Deloplaine was married to Kathy. Together, they had two children: Ryan and Todd. The latter followed in his father’s footsteps and played football in high school, in addition to ice hockey and baseball.
The family resided in the North Side of Pittsburgh, before relocating to South Carolina during his later years. Deloplaine died on August 3, 2022, at the age of 68.

Jack “Hydroplane” Deloplaine, age 68, of Anderson, SC, husband to Kathleen Deloplaine, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Clayton King officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family requests no flowers are sent. Donations can be made to The Special Olympics of Pennsylvania in memory of Jack Deloplaine at SOPA Pittsburgh Office, 200 Cedar Ridge Dr., #214, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
