Biography:

Isla Fisher was born on February 3, 1976 in Muscat, Oman. She was raised in Perth, Western Australia. She began appearing in commercials when she was nine and landed small roles in popular children’s television programs Bay City and Paradise Beach.

In 1994, she played the role of Shannon in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. She then had a bigger role in the film Wedding Crashers, for which she won the Breakthrough Performance Award at the MTV Movie Awards.

Since then, she has been known for her comedic roles in films, including Hot Rod, Definitely, Maybe, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rango and Bachelorette.
