An official video reveals that the U.S. Navy is instructing sailors on gender pronouns & the ways to create a “safe place” by using “inclusive language.”

Naval Undersea Warfare Center engineer Jony Rozon introduces himself and informs the audience that he uses the pronouns “he/him” in the opening of the official instructional video, which was secretly recorded in June 2021 and uploaded online the previous month to the DVIDS. She utilizes “she/her” pronouns, according to his colleague presenter, engineer Conchy Vasquez.

The Navy Pronoun video is very real and it is not a sarcastic or a mockery video. It is a component of a larger effort to encourage inclusion and diversity among naval employees. The NAVSEA Inclusion & Engagement Council was established in 2021, which marked the beginning of everything.

Pronouns Are Essential with Jony Rozon, the first of a series of lectures, was released on its Wiki in 2021. Mentoring, code-switching, & leading through honesty, and raising others are among the many films and materials included in this project.

The movie emphasizes how crucial it is to speak in an inclusive manner so that everyone feels secure, valued, and respected. The hosts explain that one approach to achieve that is you could say say “hello, everyone” rather than “hey, guys”.

Additionally, they recommend that sailors & other US Navy personnel provide their pronouns in correspondence so that others may participate.

The viral video received mixed reviews on social media, with some people finding it funny and others interpreting it as a foreboding sign of the times.

The Twitter users started retweeting the video and it caught everybody’s attention in no time. While the video genuinely has good intentions behind it, some of the fans were expressing how the video is very wholesome to a degree.

While most social media users were having a good laugh at the video and felt it was unnecessary to even have to make a video like that. John Vannucci, a video producer working for the US Navy, produced the film.
