Christopher Gardener Holdings became involved in investment ventures in South Africa, which was being run by Nelson Mandela at that time. This happened when he visited South Africa to observe elections around the time of the 10th anniversary of the end of apartheid.

Gardner partnered with Zrii to mentor and create a new generation of entrepreneurs. The founder of Zrii, CEO Bill Farley, and Gardner had a long-standing friendship. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into a business relationship as all of them had a mutual passion for helping the people.

Christopher Gardner was born on February 9, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His parents are Thomas Turner and Bettye Jean Gardner.

Since his parents were separated and he was living with his stepfather, his childhood was difficult and painful. Despite the broken marriages and absence of his mother, she was a source of inspiration for him.

Inspired by his uncle’s worldwide adventures in the Navy, he too served Navy for four years. Then he joined the medical sector.

On June 18, 1977, he married Sherry Dyson but their relationship was detached due to his decision to the left medical sector. Then he had a boy child on January 28, 1981, with his relationship with another woman. The name of his son is Christopher Jarrett Gardner Jr. whom he raised as a single father. 

Raising his son was becoming so expensive to him that he joined the stock market. Police arrested him and kept him in jail after a domestic altercation and discovered that Gardner had $1,200 worth of unpaid parking fines. He then became homeless. After struggling a lot he had some money for the rent.

By 1987, he was so successful that he started his brokerage firm. Then he had a girl child with his relationship with another woman.

He started involved in many charitable ventures.

His book named, “The Pursuit of Happyness” was published in 2006. That book was also adopted to make a movie.
