Jamaican Influencer Aneka ‘Slickianna’ Townsend Found Dead In St. James

Aneka Townsend, well known by her online as “Slickianna,” was found dead on Friday in Reading, Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica.

According to sources the body of the young entrepreneur was discovered in shallow water not far from land.

A gunshot wound to the head was apparently sustained by Aneka Townsend, an Instagram star with 317K followers.

The influencer’s last Instagram post featured her in shoes and a bikini top that were strikingly similar to those in a gruesome video that went viral online.

The woman in the video also had a tattoo on her thigh that looked eerily like the one Townsend has.

It was discovered after 16 hours that the woman had shared over a dozen photos and videos on Instagram.
The last photo she posted was 22 hours ago, and it showed her carrying a pocketbook and clad only in a pair of nude-colored foam runners, shorts, and a white t-shirt.

Townsend was well-known in the entertainment industry, and in 2019, he was said to be dating Baby Cham after she was sighted at his hotel in Kingston and the two appeared to be very comfortable with one another in photographs.

Neither she nor the artist addressed the rumor, which is especially curious given that Cham is already married to Miss O, the artist’s wife.

Slickianna’s purported extramarital affair with the dancehall star’s husband is said to have contributed to the breakdown of her marriage. Aside from the facts that she has a son and used to be a stripper at Taboo Strip club when it was located in New Kingston, not much is known about Townsend’s private life.

On Friday, Townsend’s devoted following struggled to come to terms with the devastating news.

“Bro her body was there just floating dawg no clothing and a the same sandals f**kry,” one Twitter user commented.

An additional user commented, “Slick say a Nuh yuh pls come live now @life.of.a.king a wah truly a gwan.”

Another participant in the conversation chimed in, “Jah jah a woman fr eno just look pon the tattoos dem look pon the fether pon r leg n look go pon r ig n look if ano the same feather jah jah.”

Another user commented, “That video is going to give me a nightmare sighhh so sad for her son.”

While many have made assumptions about the identity of the dead person found in Reading, the Jamaica Constabulary Force has remained silent.
