How did Conor McGregor lose his belts?

Irish mixed martial artist Conor Anthony McGregor was born on July 14, 1988. Tony and Margaret McGregor’s son Conor Anthony was born in Crumlin, Ireland. In Crumlin, where he was born, McGregor was brought up. He attended the Gaelscoil Scoil Mológa in Harold’s Cross for his elementary school and the Gaelcholáiste Coláiste in Tallaght for his secondary education, where he also discovered a love for soccer and the Irish language.

McGregor has won the lightweight and featherweight titles in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the only UFC fighter to simultaneously hold the titles for both weight divisions. He had previously held the Cage Warriors lightweight and featherweight titles.

McGregor became the first UFC double champion, cementing his reputation inside the organization. After defeating Jose Aldo to win the featherweight championship at UFC 194 in 2016, Conor McGregor switched to welterweight where he faced Nate Diaz twice but lost the title in the first fight.

When McGregor seemed to be in control after defeating Eddie Alvarez to concurrently win the titles in both divisions. But because of his desire to win, he failed to defend his lightweight title for more than a year, which led the UFC to declare it inactive and forfeit it.
