On June 22, 1910, Herbert Quandt was born to his parents in Pritzwalk, Germany. He grew up as one of the three sons of Günther Quandt, a German industrialist who founded an industrial empire that today includes BMW and Altana, a car and chemical company, respectively.
Just like his father, he was a German industrialist credited with having saved BMW when it was at the point of bankruptcy and made a huge profit in doing so. He passed away on June 2, 1982, in Kiel, Germany.
He was a family man at the time of his death having married three times. He was the father of six children named Silvia Quandt, Sonja Quandt-Wolf, Sabina Quandt, Sven Quandt, Stefan Quandt and Susanne Klatten.

Stefan Quandt is one of the children of Herbert. He is a German billionaire heir, engineer and industrialist. He is one of two children of Herbert and his third wife Johanna Quandt. He was born to his parents on May 9, 1966, in Frankfurt, Germany, hence, he is 57 years old.
Susanne Hanna Ursula Klatten is a German billionaire heiress and the only daughter of Herbert and Johanna Quandt. She was born to her parents on April 28, 1962, in Bad Homburg, Germany, hence, she is 61 years old.
Silvia Quandt is the first child of Herbet and the only child of him and his first wife Ursel Munstermann. She was born to her parents in 1937, in Berlin, Germany, hence, she is 86 years old as far as her year of birth is concerned. She is a German artist.
