GoFundMe for Ashari Hughes has raised over $22K and counting

A GoFundMe for Ashari Hughes has raised over $22K and counting after the teen died while playing flag football Thursday in Las Vegas.

Hughes, 16, a sophomore student at Desert Oasis High School, collapsed on the field after suffering a “medical emergency” while playing flag football Thursday night.

School staff began rendering medical aid and continued until paramedics arrived. Sadly Hughes did not survive.

Her cause and manner of death are still pending as of Saturday morning.
