Gera Ponce is a Colombian homemaker mostly famous as a girlfriend of professional footballer Luis Diaz, who plays as a winger for Premier League club Liverpool and the Colombia national team. 

Born to a wine expert father and a homemaker mother, she was raised alongside her sisters in Barrancas, La Guajira. Ponce graduated from college in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Further, she wrote that she was dying to teach her many things despite being an apprentice in life.

She also cleared that she will not be the perfect mom but made a promise to be a good mother and respect all her strengths and weaknesses, and will be with her every second of her life to accept, respect, contemplate, hold, push, and love her.

Liverpool succeeded in signing her partner 

Her partner’s stunning performance at Porto, where he scored 14 league goals in 18 League games in his third-half season, impressed top managers like Jurgen Klopp. 

He was the top target for a summer transfer, but once the Portuguese accepted a similar deal from Tottenham, the plan was accelerated, knowing that they could miss the football ace. 

Spurs were willing to pay the reported fee up to £46 m and tried every possible way to sign him, but in the end, Diaz ended up signing for Liverpool. 

He signed for Liverpool on the 30th of January, 2022, on a five-year contract with the reported initial fee of £37.5 million with £12.5 million add-ons. 

Upon signing, the Liverpool manager expressed his happiness, saying Luiz was someone they had been tracking for a long time.
