George Young is a British actor, writer, and television presenter who was born on February 29, 1980.

Young was born on Leap Day 1980 in London, England, the eldest of four brothers to a Malaysian Chinese father and a Greek Cypriot mother. He attended Winchester College and studied acting in New York before earning a psychology degree from the University of Southampton and a law degree from the University of Westminster and The College of Law. Young, who is a fully qualified solicitor for the Supreme Court of England and Wales after completing his solicitor traineeship in a City of London law company, gave up his legal career to follow his passion for acting.

Young’s career in the entertainment industry began in the UK, where he made an appearance in BBC’s Casualty before filming his first feature role in the Bollywood movie Jhootha Hi Sahi. Young made an appearance on Travel and Living Channel (TLC), taking a guest co-hosting position alongside Janet Hsieh on the program Fun Taiwan. This was after filming many TV advertisements in Taiwan and Thailand and a music video with Ariel Lin. He has since received credit for writing the show’s script.
