O’Herlihy passed away in Bath, Somerset, England, and was survived by his wife Juliette and his children, Daniel, David, Lonan, and Rogan.

Although he passed away almost two months ago, the news of his death was not publicly confirmed until last Friday. His brother, Cormac O’Herlihy, confirmed the news of his death.
