Gary B. Reid Died In Crash Involving School Bus In Blount County

On Monday afternoon in Blount County, a school bus accident claimed the life of one individual.
According to senior trooper Brandon Bailey, the two-vehicle collision took place in the Hayden area at around 2:55 p.m.

An approximately 10-child school bus was involved in the collision. The bus’s passengers weren’t hurt in any way.
According to the authorities, the car’s driver died. Gary B. Reid, 60, has been confirmed as the driver.
Near Wild Bird Way, on Alabama 160, an accident occurred.
Highway Patrol Division officers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) are still looking into the matter and will update you as necessary.
