Ivorian professional footballer Franck Yannick Kessié competes for both the Ivory Coast national team and La Liga club Barcelona as a midfielder.
Kessié agreed to a three-year deal with Serie A team Atalanta on January 29, 2015.
Upon his arrival, he was given the Primavera team of the club, where he made seven appearances and contributed.
On March 1, he started his debut game in Europe, a 2-0 road victory over AC Milan Primavera.
Kessié was called up to the first squad on April 18, 2015, for a game against Roma, although he did not play in the 1-1 draw the next day.
On July 4, 2022, Barcelona said that they had reached an agreement with Kessiè, whose contract with AC Milan will end after four years, for a four-year deal lasting until June 30, 2026, with a €500 million buyout clause.
