Dr. Williams received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University followed by her Master of Philosophy in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics from the University of Cambridge in England. She then attended Harvard Medical School, earning a Doctor of Medicine and completing an internship in Internal Medicine. Subsequently, she began her residency in Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore.
Dr. Williams’ research focuses on procedural dermatology, with particular interest in skin of color dermatology. She has presented her research nationally and internationally, and her articles and medical illustrations have been published in high-impact dermatologic journals.
Dr. Williams has been recognized internationally for her commitment to improving the lives of others with the prestigious Gates Cambridge Scholarship from the Gates Cambridge Trust. She has received numerous accolades, including the Linnane Scholarship from Harvard Medical School and the Humanitarian Award from Emory University. Dr. Williams is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Skin of Color Society, and the National Medical Association. She also serves on the Membership Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology.
