Dr. Joel Hardin, MD – Atlanta, GA

Dr. Joel Hardin is Medical Director for the Emory Adult Congenital Heart Center. He is board-certified in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology. His clinical expertise includes caring for the entire spectrum of congenital heart diseases among pediatric and adult patients, with a special focus on cardio-obstetric care of women with congenital heart disease who are pregnant or need advice on the cardiovascular risks that might be associated with pregnancy.

Dr. Hardin is a veteran of military service, attaining the rank of Commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps Fleet Marine Force. His last active-duty assignments were with 1st Marine Division forward deployed to Iraq in 2004, followed by 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune before honorably separating from military service in 2006.
