Dr. Howard Greene, MD – Sumter, SC

After completing an internal medicine internship at Bethesda Naval Hospital in 1986 and Flight Surgery Training in 1987, I served the Navy for two years as a flight surgeon at NAS Chase Field in Beeville, TX - a training base for naval jet pilots.

In 1989, I moved to Akron, Ohio and worked as a general physician at Kaiser Permanente for one year before beginning ophthalmology resdency at Akron City Hospital. After residency, I began practice at Holzer Clinic, a multispecialty group in Gallipolis, OH.

In 2000, I moved to Greensboro, NC, working in an ophthalmology group practice in order to give my children a better high school education than that available in rural Ohio. Most recently, in 2006, I relocated to Florence, SC to work in a high volume surgical practice where I can also practice LASIK and ICL surgery.
