I am an otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon treating all ages of patients.

I have a special interest in the care of children and completed fellowship training at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, offering Santa Barbara this level of expertise for the very first time. I am a regional expert in the management of tethered oral tissue/ankyloglossia and speak nationally on the topic.

I also specialize in minimally invasive management of ear issues including performing eustachian tube balloon dilation, of sinus issues with balloon sinuplasty, of nasal issues using Vivaer, Latera, Clarifix, and Rhinaer procedures, of salivary issues with sialoendoscopy, endoscopic airway management, superior laryngeal nerve injections for cough, perform EarWell infant ear molding procedures, and stay abreast of the latest technologies to manage all sorts of ENT disease.

I prefer to incorporate integrative management in the care of my patients and to customize a treatment plan for each individual patient and family.

I have a Master of Public Health and have a passion for making medical concepts accessible to the public.

I am the current chair of the Governance and Society Engagement Committee of the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and also serve on the Complementary and Integrative Medicine Committee and the Practice Management Education Committee, and am a past vice-chair of the Socioeconomic and Grassroots Committee of the Board of Governors, and past chair of the Media and Public Relations Committee of the AAO-HNS.

In 2020, Dr. Stephanie Culver and I started our practice, Riviera ENT, in Santa Barbara. We aim to offer the best possible experience and care for our patients.
