A woman lost her life after a three-car crash in Warren County, Allamuchy.

The wreck occurred on Wednesday afternoon, November 22. Lauren M. Gerhold, 33, was pronounced deceased after the accident happened on County Road 517 near Ridge Road. Based on preliminary reports, a Jeep Wrangler was headed east on Ridge Road while a Jeep SUV was headed north on CR-517, and a Ford Pickup was headed south on CR-517. At the intersection of the two roadways, the Jeep Wrangler struck the Ford on the passenger side, according to police. The Ford was then re-directed and struck the Jeep SUV on the driver’s side. Due to the collision, the driver of the Jeep and the Ford’s driver were seriously injured. They were taken to a local hospital by ambulance, state police said. Gerhold was identified as the driver of the Jeep.

Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
