In the far chapters of the Demon Slayer manga, Tanjiro is actually converted into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji. Muzan does this to continue his demon legacy and live in this world even after being dead. Muzan passes on his feelings and powers to Tanjiro, and he becomes successful in turning Tanjiro into the new Demon King.
1 Tanjiro Becomes A Demon After Tanjiro manages to defeat Muzan in an epic battle, Muzan transfers all his emotions into Tanjiro and turns him into a demon. Now since he has lost his humanity, Tanjiro starts blindly attacking Demon Slayers around him.
To sum things up, Tanjiro died fighting Muzan and was revived within seconds due to the transfer of blood from the Demon King to Tanjiro. He turns into a Demon and Kanao injects a certain medicine made from Wisteria flowers that turns him back to a human.
Tanjiro became a demon at some point in the series. This happened in Chapter 201 of the manga, which is near the end of the series. Tanjiro’s transformation into a demon occurred right after the battle against Muzan.
When Tanjiro and the Demon Slayers finally defeated Muzan, the demon king managed to turn Tanjiro into a demon and transfer all of his emotions into him. He was ultimately saved by Tamayo’s medicine, which Kanao injected into him during the fight. He had to struggle to free himself from Muzan’s influence but was ultimately successful.
The scene that follows Tanjiro trying to get to humans again serves as a reminder of the power of human connections. After being transformed into a demon, Tanjiro lost his control. He even fought Nezuko after the taste of her blood spurred his bloodlust.
However, those who’ve read the Demon Slayer manga know that at some point in the story, Tanjiro will become a demon. Towards the end of the story, in chapter 201 of Demon Slayer manga, the demon king Muzan is finally defeated by the demon slayer corps.
However, as the demon Muzan fades away and is remembering his past memories as a human, he infuses Tanjiro’s nearly-dead body with his blood. In hopes that Tanjiro will become the strongest demon, the “demon king.”
Yushiro explains that the biological potential of Tanjiro is so high that he can even surpass the strength of Muzan Kibutsuji himself. After turning into a demon, Tanjiro possesses the regeneration capability which surpassed all the other demons. After Nezuko, Tanjiro becomes another demon who conquers the resistance to sunlight.
Tanjiro gives Gyutaro a befitting reply with his strong headbutt, but he can’t resist thinking of the situation if he becomes a demon. Tanjiro wonders that if he were a demon, he and Nezuko would still have a future together.
