Wendy Chabert, the sister of Lacey Chabert, died. However, the cause of it remains a mystery as neither her relatives nor anyone has disclosed anything. Nonetheless, rumors are suggesting a car accident to be the culprit.

Her sister confirmed the death news via her official Instagram account, @thereallacey, on 24 October 2021. She then followed on with another post on Thanksgiving day. And now, two days later, on the occasion of Christmas at Castle Hart’s premiere, she wrote that the loss left her heartbroken. 

Wendy of Cajun (French), Italian, English, and Scottish ancestry died at 46. She was the daughter of Julie (Johnson) and Tony Chabert, an oil company representative. 

Apart from her parents, she also has two other sisters, TJ and Chrissy, besides Lacey.

She lived in Texas with her husband, Shane Riggio, and two sons. However, her marital life probably wasn’t good as she was going through divorce proceedings. She filed for divorce in August 2019, which remains pending. Furthermore, she filed two others, in 2010 and 2017, that got dismissed.

Wendy lived a very private life, unlike Lacey. We don’t know much about her. However, reports suggest that she used to work as a baker.

The news on her funeral remains unknown. Hopefully, her soul rests in peace, and her family gets enough strength to pass this saddening time.

Her sister has had a successful acting career, starring in over 150 titles and winning six awards overall.

Lacey was the Best Supporting Actress at the 2018 IFS Award and the Worst Supporting Actress in the 1998 Stinker Award. In addition to these, she also won two Young Star Awards and a Young Artist Award for her performance in Party of Five. Likewise, she grabbed an MTV Movie Award in 2005. 

Speaking about her personal life, she is a married woman. Her husband is David Nehdar, with whom she got married on 22 December 2013, in Los Angeles. The couple has one child, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar.
