Darnell Carlton, better known by his stage names Crunchy Black, CB, Crunch, and Crunchy Mane, was born in Indiana on August 24, 1974. He is an American rapper and dancer best known for being a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning hip hop group Three 6 Mafia from its inception until 2006. Crunchy is well-known for his “G-Walking” style of dancing, which he claims he began doing at Club Memphis. Although he did not invent this dance, he excelled at it and sees himself as a forerunner of the genre.
