Likewise, Cliff reported that the machines unexpectedly switched off during his surgery, resulting in a huge complication. The surgeons were unable to complete the task properly, and the surgery was a failure.
When the procedure was finally completed after 13 hours, he claims that the doctor predicted that he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Cliff’s right side was paralyzed as a result, but it didn’t stop him from being affiliated with his beloved sport. He never lost touch with the sport he adores, and he continued to contribute to the sport via his teaching abilities.
