We regret to inform you of the death of Carole McGrath, who died on August 1, 2023, at the age of 50, in the Tracadie Hospital. She was the wife of Pascal Kerry. She was born on July 11, 1973, as the daughter of Kathleen Rodrigue and Elie McGrath.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves behind a daughter, Élianne; a son, Jérémie; a wife, Lise (Isabelle); a father, Paul (Martine); a mother, Marcelle (Camille); tantes et oncles from the McGrath family: Sr Gilberte, Sr Vitaline, Gisèle (feu Cédric), Marina (feu Viateur), Simone

She also leaves behind her beautiful sisters: Jocelyne (Claude), Gisèle, Rachelle (Louis-Marie), Gatanne (Claude), and Nathalie (Robert), as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, cousines, and many friends and relatives, including her special nieces, Michelle, Eva, and Marie-Claude.

Carole has always been a generous woman to her family and community. Her significant community involvement (SPCA, CBDC, Opération Chats Sauvages de la Péninsule, phoques de l’Aquarium, and IRZC fish) earned her the title of female entrepreneur of the year in 2012. His love of animals enabled him, along with his Tonnerre team, to realize his dream of opening the Shippagan Veterinary Hospital.

She developed a liking for photography throughout the years, which led to two exhibitions. These images of renards and local fauna have been shared numerous times on social media.

The family will receive parents and friends beginning at 13:30 on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the House Haché, 32 Ruisseau Street, Lamèque. The funeral will take place at the Lamèque church Notre-Dame-des-Flots at 16:30 on the same day.

In Carole’s memory, a donation to the SPCA-Péninsule acadienne would be appreciated.
Hours of operation: Wednesday, August 9, from 13:30 to 16:30.
The direction of the funerals has been delegated to the professionals of Shippagan’s Haché Funéraire.
