Additionally, he was presented Most Outstanding Player Award.The magical season and the eventual victory made him a star freshman player of the tournament. Originally planned for a three season stay at Syracuse, he cut short the same and made himself eligible for the 2003 NBA draft, after achieving all what he wanted to do in the first season itself.
