Along with Tony Burton, Stu Nahan, and Sylvester Stallone, Burt Young is among the four actors to have appeared in four instalments of the Rocky film series. The first instalment of the series in 1975 earned Young an Academy Award nomination for the Best Supporting Actor category. Meanwhile, his appearance in the 1985 film Rocky IV, as well as in the 1990 film Rocky V, earned him a Razzie Award nomination for Worst Supporting Actor.
