Braun Strowman was born Adam Joseph Scherr in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina on September 6, 1983. He is the first of two children born to a renowned US member, Rick Scherr. He has a younger sister named Hannah. During his childhood he gained experience in Arkansas and Tennessee.

Regarding his educational qualifications, Strowman graduated from Bandys High School in North Carolina in 2001. During this time, he competed in his high school’s sporting events, including track and field, soccer, and wrestling. Two years after graduating from high school, he attended a community college where he played football for four years as a member of the Hickory Hornets team.

After a few years, the wrestler beganparticipation in non-professional strongman competitions. He then secured his professional identity as the Strongman Corporation by emerging as the 2011 NAS United States Amateur National Championship champion. The WWE Superstar won the 2012 Arnold Amateur Strongman Championships. Shortly thereafter, he placed 5th overall at the SCL North American Championships and 7th overall at the Giant Live Poland.

Additionally, Adam Scherr stumbled upon a major breakthrough in his wrestling career when he signed in 2013 with the renowned World Wrestling Entertainment. He was appointed to the WWE Events Center in Orlando, Florida, where he adopted his professional wrestling name, Braun Strowman. A year later, he defeated Chad Gable in his first professional wrestling event at the NXT live event. The famous strongman became the newest member of the famous Wyatt family, which consists of Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, in January 2016. The brave wrestler made his big match debut with the Wyatt family in a match against Raw Wrestling’s Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns emerged victorious.

In addition to being a wrestler, the WWE Superstar is also an actor, having appeared in two films: Three Count (2016) as Strongman and Holmes & Watson (2018) as Brawn. He also made his video game debut in WWE 2K17 2016, as well as WWE 2K18 2017 and WWE 2K19 2018.
