All of us here at Del Valle are saddened by the passing of Bob Molinaro, the proprietor of this company.

Bob passed away peacefully and quietly on Thursday morning, surrounded by those who he loved the most: his family.

In order to increase the number of wines he already held from Garre Vineyards, Bob bought Del Valle Winery in March 2020. This was the driving force behind Bob’s purchase.

This was an addition to Bob’s extensive wine collection. Due to his frequent visits, Bob was a familiar face behind the bar at the winery, especially on Friday evenings.

During his formative years, he saw his father and uncles annually transport grapes from Napa to San Francisco so they could be crushed, fermented, and turned into wine.

A San Francisco winery was owned by his father and uncles. This was one of the things that sparked his interest in wine and helped him develop into a wine connoisseur.

Because of this, he developed a passion for wine. It would be an honor for us if you joined us in remembering him and raising a glass with us to honor him when you visited us. We’re excited to see you.

Please be aware that every single one of us has been affected by this terrible occurrence.
