Medley, who produced the duo before signing with Spector and Fills, was the de facto producer of many tracks, and “Besides” was attributed to Spector, including “Unchained Melody”, which was originally intended as an album track. Has Lost That Lovin’Feelin’ and “Just Once in My Life”, the vocals are mostly mixed music as the center, but Hatfield plays solo in some singles, such as “Unchained Melody” and “Ebb Tide”.

Duo left Spector in 1966, where they produced the hit song “Soul and Inspiration”, but parted ways when Medley left to pursue his career in 1968. Medley performed three shows in one night in Las Vegas; according to Medley, he found his voice too tense when singing solo and lost his voice for a while.

Based on recommendations, he turned to Hatfield in 1974 to reform the Brotherhood of Justice. They signed with Haven Records and quickly recorded “Rock Heaven”, which was very popular. After the death of his first wife in 1976, Medley decided to temporarily withdraw from the music industry.

In 1981, he met Hatfield in the 30th American Bandstand Special, where they performed an updated version of “Rock Heaven”.

In the 1980s, he turned to a solo career, and they continued to perform as a duo.
