We announce Associate Professor Scott Deacle’s passing with the heaviest of hearts.

Professor Deacle, a beloved friend and mentor to many, embodied the best aspects of Ursinus during his twelve years as a cherished member of our neighborhood. He was a superb educator with a remarkable talent for establishing a personal contact with his students. His service to the college was outstanding. He was a sure-footed, compassionate voice of clarity who recognized great potential in both the college and each of us.
