Amber Alva Dies in fiery crash near Sanger

After a horrific collision in Fresno County early on Wednesday morning, Amber Marie Alva was taken into custody and one person died.
Around three in the morning, a tragic collision occurred on Highway 180, north of Sanger, just west of Bethel Avenue. The 23-year-old Sanger suspect was driving a Dodge Charger eastbound at a fast speed when she rear-ended a Honda Odyssey, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Odyssey ran off the road and crashed into a tree. Then it started to burn.
The Odyssey’s driver thus passed away there and then. They hadn’t been given a name yet.
Alva and the other three passengers in the Charger were transferred with unknown injuries to Community Regional Medical Center.

Police detained Alva when she was released from the hospital.
Police reported that speeding contributed to the collision. There is an ongoing investigation.
