Alan Thomas “Al” Hrabosky (/r??b?ski/; born July 21, 1949) is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, and Atlanta Braves from 1970 to 1982. He now works as a colour commentator for the Cardinals on FSN Midwest during their regular season broadcasts. He is also the proprietor of Al Hrabosky’s Ballpark Saloon, which is just across the street from Busch Stadium. Because of his unique last name and flamboyant personality, Hrabosky is known as The Mad Hungarian.
