The FIFA World Cup is a professional association football tournament between national teams. FIFA organizes the tournament, which is held every four years and was first played in Uruguay in 1930[5], and has been contested by 32 teams since the 1998 event. The tournament consists of eight round-robin groups followed by a knockout round for 16 teams. The defending champions are France, who defeated Croatia 4-2 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final. The event will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.

Morocco’s head coach’s name is Walid Regragui.

Walid Regragui, a Moroccan football manager and former professional defender, was born on September 23, 1975. He is the football team’s national head coach for Morocco.

Regragui, a French native, played for Morocco on a full international level. He played for Toulouse, AC Ajaccio, Grenoble, and Racing Santander, among other teams. He transferred from Grenoble to Moghreb Tétouan in Morocco for his final playing season in the summer of 2009.

Regragui was named the Wydad AC head coach on August 10, 2021, in Botola. He guides Wydad AC to its third CAF Champions League championship on May 30, 2022, defeating reigning champions Al Ahly. After Hussein Ammouta’s triumph with Wydad in 2017, he became just the second Moroccan manager to win the African Champions League.
Following Vahid Halilhodi’s dismissal as head coach of the Moroccan national football team on August 31, 2022, Regragui was named the team’s new head coach. Regragui led Madagascar to a 1-0 victory in his first friendly match on September 21, 2022.
